Imagine looking at the world through the eyes of Tim Noble and Sue Webster–the England based artists whose medium includes everything and anything….so long as it comes from the streets.

A light is projected onto what appears to be your everyday pile of trash and reflects a premeditated and calculated shadow.

Check out Plato’s Garbage Pile for an interesting perspective–hint…perhaps this trash has a deeper meaning and it sounds sounds a lot like consumerism.

If slightly disturbing peeing, shitting, smoking, drinking proclaimed self-portraits intrigue you, check out Haut Trash: Fashion from Rubbish–a post dedicated to all things wearable made from yes, you guessed it TRASH!

Making art out of trash seems like the only logical step….recycling at its finest!

If you like the planet, check out Tree Hugger, a site partial to a modern aesthetic–which shares sustainable green news and solutions!

Very interesting blog and post. The pile of trash with that shadow hits close to home for me. I swear just yesterday I was throwing something away and thinking to myself … how odd that was. I was thinking what a horrible way to live, I recycle and try not to consume excessively but I still produce huge bags of trash monthly. Obviously an unnatural way to live if you think about it, which I think that piece helps people to do.
