I was looking through an art blog called Thinking About Art when I came across the age old photography question–Color or B&W? Although I refuse to consider myself neutral on the issue, I believe that color or the lack there of can either limit or overbear a photograph. Like most things, there is a time and a place for everything.
Ask anyone, and they will most likely have a different opinion regarding the issue. Thats exactly what JT Kirkland did when he asked readers to vote for their preference between a captured tree on a National Battlefield park.
Yes…Artist bloggers are looking to their readership for opinions about their art…. This is great–people connecting about art–asking, giving and taking advise from web readership.
As for the fellow blogger–I vote black and white! I like the stark contract between the light sky and the dark tree.
Some People, or as I like to call them ARTISTS are combining the two!
